All policies and rules established by WMS apply in this classroom.

• No backpacks, food, and non-water drinks allowed in the classroom.
• Be in your assigned place whether in the classroom or gym before the bell rings.
• No Cell phone, etc. It will be taken away, even on the first time.


• To use the restroom, go to your locker, get a drink…you will be able to leave at the teacher’s discretion and teacher's permission.

WHAT TO USE IN CLASS EVERYDAY:

Please be prepared everyday with the following items:
• Pen or Pencil
• Health Folder ( Notebook may be kept in the classroom )

• Completed Work

If Health Folder is to be kept in Health Room, please leave a pen or pencii in your folder also.

Daily task - get folder from counter, and sit in assigned place. Always have a writing utensil ready to use.

GRADING POLICY:

1. You will be graded in the following areas a combination of Health (60%) / PE (40%)

• Participation/Attendance/Punctuality

• Homework
• Tests/Quizzes
• Projects
• Health assignments

• Health Folder

PE TH, F

Earning points on TH, F.  pts. Wearing PE clothes, 5 pts: not chewing gum
FRIDAY - Weights:, bring your sweat towel ON FRIDAY for ex. credit pts.
Safety is #1 in the weight room: If you are not behaving in a safe manner, you will be removed from the weight room, and receive a zero for that day. You are not able to make-up those points. Any activity deemed unsafe will be determined by the teacher.
THURSDAY - activity in small or big gym
TH/ FR.: You must wear laced, athletic shoes, socks, p.e. shirt with your first/ last name on it, athletic shorts or warm-ups/ sweats. KEEP ALL CLOTHES LOCKED IN YOUR PE LOCKER. Take home on Friday to clean.

RULE ON FLIP FLOPS: Don’t wear them. You will not be able to participate, you will receive zero points, and you will not be able to make up these points.
Absent on Thursday/ Friday : You need to make these points up (20) Any physical activity for 30 minutes, with a parent signature, date, and activity completed written on a piece of paper, will be acceptable for make-up. There are also make-up PE sheets in Room 102 available. Reminder:
• ¬DO NOT use PE equipment without permission.
When coming into the weight room:
get weight paper, clipboard and pencil.
Go to assigned station.
Do not begin until teacher gives the go signal.

EXAMPLES THAT COULD LOWER YOUR GRADE:• not dressing down for P.E • disruption of classroom activity • poor behavior and effort • gum chewing • not making up absent PE days.

B+ 87-89 D+ 67-69
B 83-86 D 63-66
B- 80-82 D- 60-62
C+ 77-79 F 59 and Below
