Families with multiple students at WMS can choose one time to drop off/pick up all their supplies.

June 16th and 17th are the days for getting items returned to students and families. This will also be a drop off day for any school items you need to return before the summer.  Materials from student lockers and PE lockers have been bagged up.  These items, sewing projects, yearbooks, and medications from the health room will be distributed.  Families will drop off instruments for band/orchestra, library books, sports uniforms and classroom textbooks, etc.

All students will keep their chrome book/charger over the summer.

Here is our order of operations:

  • Whether you are walking or driving, please enter our parking though through our main entrance only.  You will stop and give your student’s name to a staff member so your belongings can be ready for you.

  • The first station will be to drop off any school items that need to be returned before summer.  This may include:

    • Library books to see what you currently have checked out, please check “My Info” in Destiny using the attached directions. Please note if books were turned in Wednesday, they may still be showing up as out because they are still being  quarantined.

    • Textbooks

    • Sports uniforms: please put in a plastic bag with your student’s name on the bag.

    • Music equipment: please use blue tape to put student’s name on the case or have student’s name on a paper inside the case.

    • Any miscellaneous school items you may have to return (including books borrowed from teachers)

  • At the  next stations you will pick up your student’s locker belongings, medications, yearbook and sewing projects.

  • At this time, you can exit or drive through the outside of the parking lot to look through the lost and found items that will be laid out on tables.

Important Notes:

  • Please stay in your car the entire time unless you are stopping quickly to grab a lost and found item.  Our volunteers will bring items to you and take items from your car.

  • You will not be able to park and should exit the campus once items are dropped off and/or picked up.

  • Please wear face masks to protect our volunteers.

  • Please do not block driveways if the line extends beyond the gates.

  • For walking families, we will have the sidewalk marked out for a standing line.  X’s will be marked on the ground for distancing.

Parents and students will not be able to access the building during this time for any reason due to District policy.  These will be our only days for pick-up of materials.  If you have extenuating circumstances that do not allow you to come, please let Cathy Shea know.  You can email her at cshea@osd.wednet.edu   Any clothing items left in the building after June 17th will be donated to a local charity.
