Academic progress is a top priority at Washington Middle School and throughout the Olympia School District.

The school district's academic program is based on consistent, standards-based curriculum and materials delivered by skilled teachers. The Washington State K-12 Learning Standards define what all students should know and be able to do by the end of each grade level.
