Hello Families,
The weather has been beautiful these past few days, spring is definitely here. It is wonderful seeing so many students riding bikes and scooters to and from school. With the increased traffic around campus and the higher speeds of e-bikes and e-scooters, we want to remind families how important it is for students to wear helmets. If your child needs a helmet and you’re unable to purchase one, please call the office and let us know. We're happy to help. Keeping your children safe is our priority.
On that note, our students and staff did a great job staying calm during the lockout earlier this week. If you’d like more information about the difference between a lockout and a lockdown, as well as our district’s safety procedures, you can find that
here. We practice these routines regularly so that students know what to expect and can feel prepared.
As a reminder, SBA testing begins next week. Students are best set up for success when they come to school well rested and ready to start the day with a good breakfast. Breakfast is available at school each morning for any student who would like it. If cost is a concern, you can find information about free and reduced priced meals,
here.
As we move further into the spring, our days continue to be full of learning, activities, and opportunities for students to stay engaged. We appreciate your continued support in helping your child finish the year strong.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Warmly,
Principal Hauschka
