Planning for the Future of OSD Schools
The Olympia School District is seeking community members interested in serving on a Bond Planning Committee to help build upon the District's recent Long Range Facilities Master Planning effort.
The committee will be a small, collaborative group that will review information, discuss district facility needs, and help evaluate and prioritize potential capital improvement projects for consideration in future school bond measures. Community input is an important part of this process, and we welcome individuals with a variety of perspectives and experiences.
Please Note: To maintain a focused and productive working group, the committee will be limited in size. Some participants may have also served on the Long Range Facilities Master Planning Committee, providing continuity between the two planning efforts. Submission of an interest form does not guarantee placement on the committee.
Meeting Schedule
Committee members should be available to attend 3-4 meetings, each approximately 90 minutes in length. Meetings are planned for the second half of August into September. Lunch will be provided.

- Thursday, August 20: 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Thursday, September 17: 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Thursday, September 24: 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Interested in helping shape the future of Olympia School District facilities?
The District is seeking community members with experience in K12 construction, engineering, architecture, public finance, long range facilities planning, or K12 school bond planning to express interest in serving on a future Bond Planning Committee.
Individuals who meet the applicable qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply. Individuals who meet the relevant criteria and who also previously served on the District's Long Range Planning Committee will receive additional consideration during the selection process. The application deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026.
