Dear Washington Middle School Families,

Thank you for your patience this week as we worked through student schedule changes. The changes are now complete, and we greatly appreciate the understanding of our students, families, and staff as we worked to rebalance class sizes using the additional staffing provided to our school.

In sports news, we are excited to share that more than 230 students are participating in fall sports this year.  This is a new record for WMS!

We held our first cross country meet of the season this week, and it was a great success with a strong turnout from our student athletes. A special thank you to Danelle Wright for her work coordinating and organizing the meet.

Girls volleyball and boys soccer begin competition next week. Schedules for these games and for cross country meets are posted on the WMS website.
