Clubs at WMS
Each year, our students generate most of the clubs offered at WMS. Some of the clubs are teacher generated.Here is a slideshow explaining how to start a club, what forms are needed, and how to join a club. Below are the clubs that have started this year or will be happening later this year. If there is not a starting date listed, that club is currently meeting.
CTE Club
Meets: Every other Wednesday mornings 7:55-8:55am in the Tech Arts room 403
First meeting on Wednesday, October 4th

Ukulele Club
Hang out with your friends and learn to play your favorite songs on the ukulele. No experience or instrument required.
Meets: Friday mornings at 8:15am in room 105
Advisor: Ms. Troyer
Dungeons & Dragons Club
Step into a world of magic and mayhem as our middle school D&D club embarks on epic adventures filled with daring quests, mischievous goblins, and spellbinding enchantments. With dice in hand and imagination running wild, young adventurers forge friendships and unravel mysteries in this epic tabletop game!
Meets: Mondays from 3:45-4:45PM in room 202, starting October 9th.

Yoga Club
Join us for Yoga Club to start your Thursday off with some movement, mindfulness, and energy.
Meets: Thursday in the small gym

Magic - The Gathering Club
Join us in the library after school on Fridays to play. You can join anytime and use your own cards or borrow some of mine.
Meets: Fridays 3:45-5:00pm in the Library Can join at any meeting

WHAM Book Club
Join us for the Winners, Honors, And Mentions Book Club (WHAM), where we read award winning novels, partake in intelligent conversation, and enjoy each others’ shared love of reading. Digital reading devices are available for students to use for this club. We will be using Kindle devices for most of the books. Please check with one of the advisors to get yours.

Empower Club
A club for students of color to: find power within their own identity and develop strategies to navigate sticky situations, increase their knowledge about social justice and contribute positively to their school community, build friendships and laugh at Ms. Arevalo’s jokes.
Meets: Thursday at 3:55 - 4:45pm in Room 201
