Washington Middle School

With the assistance of emergency lighting, we were able to operate school today. We have no estimated time-frame for when power to the building will be restored. Therefore, all after-school activities are canceled. This includes, but is not limited to, Book Club, Girls Scouts, YMCA Basketball and OBA Basketball. Washington Middle School athletic activities, set to begin today, are canceled.

Dear Washington Middle School families, Below are copies of email communications I sent to all Washington Middle School families and staff regarding an incident at the school last night.

Power and phone service at Washington Middle School have been restored after a brief outage this morning, September 19.

UPDATE 1:09 p..m: Power, phone and internet service has been restored.

As a reminder, Friday, November 9, 2018 is a half day for middle school students only. Please note this is a recent change and is not reflected on the printed district calendar, as employee contract negotiations were not yet finalized. Calendars posted on the district website have been updated to reflect this change.
