Clubs for the 2021-22 school year

Each year, students decide which clubs will be offered at WMS. Here is a slideshow explaining how to start a club, what forms are needed, and how to join a club.



Clubs at WMS this year:

Rubik's Cube Club

Rubik’s Cube Club runs Wednesdays, beginning on April 20th. The club runs from  8:00am - 8:40am in the Library every 1st, 3rd, and 4th Wednesdays.  Come if you’re a beginner and have always wanted to learn how to solve the Rubik’s Cube. If you have already mastered the technique, come to challenge yourself in friendly competitions with others.

Meets: Wednesdays before school from 8:00-8:40am in the Library

Planting Club

We are a club for students who are interested in plants and can come together to talk about plants and exchange some of our favorites.

Meets:Monday & Friday after school from 3:40-4:15 in room 205

Advisor: Mrs. Morgan


Minecraft Club

We will be playing Minecraft on the Minecraft EDU server setup and run by the club advisor. This club is all about meeting others, talking about the game, building and making new friends.

Meets: Thursday after school 3:40-5:30pm Room TBD

Advisor: Mr. DiCroce & Mr. Robischon


Drama Club

This is a club for students who love musicals, singing, performing and want to practice and learn the arts of theater, as well as finding others that are interested in similar things and connect to each other. 

Meets: Monday after school 3:40-4:30pm in the Choir room.

Advisor: Ms. Roloff


Ukulele Club

We will teach and learn to play the ukulele. If you already know how to play, you can teach others how to play or just play on your own. We will play songs together and just have a good time.

Meets: Friday before school from 8:15 - 9:05am in room 105

Spectrum Club - This club is on hold and not currently meeting.

The Spectrum Club is an inclusive environment for all students LGBTQIA+ & allies for the pride community. Meetings will be simulcast through ZOOM for those who are unable to stay in the building after school. So anyone can drop in and join us from wherever they are!






Chess Club

This club will be a place to play chess against other WMS students, teach others how to play and have fun doing both.

Meets: Mondays 8:10 - 8:55am in the Library --- Starts Monday, November 22nd. Can join at any meeting.

R/C Car Club

Do you have a remote controlled car? Bring it to school on Tuesdays and join us after school to run them, race them, and just have fun playing with your car. Any r/c car will do and you can join us at any meeting. Be prepared to be outside in the weather.

Meets: Tuesdays 4:00 - 4:30pm in the Cafeteria -- Can join at any meeting.

Libby Club

Have you ever listened to an Audiobook? Are you obsessed with Audiobooks like Mrs. Mathis?  Join the Libby Club where you learn how to download the Libby app and listen to stories being read to you, right from your Chromebook or phone!  You’ll be amazed how many Audiobooks you can get through in a short time.  Together we will explore engaging titles you won’t want to miss!  

Meets:  Fridays 8:00 - 8:45am in the Library --- Starts Friday, November 12th. Can join at any meeting.

CTE Club

Meets: Wednesday mornings 7:55-8:55am in the Tech Arts room

Dungeons & Dragons Club

In this club, students will play Dungeons and Dragons, a fantasy role-playing game. This will benefit WMS students by allowing them to extend their friend groups while playing in a fun, inclusive setting. 

Meets: Mondays 3:45-5:00pm in the Library -- Starts on Sept. 20th

Magic - The Gathering Club

Join us in the library after school on Fridays to play. You can join anytime and use your own cards or borrow some of mine.

Meets:  Fridays 3:45-5:00pm in the Library --- Starts Sept. 10th. Can join at any meeting

WHAM Book Club - This club has ended for the year.

Join us for the Winners, Honors, And Mentions Book Club (WHAM), where we read award winning novels, partake in intelligent conversation, and enjoy each others’ shared love of reading. Digital reading devices are available for students to use for this club. We will be using Kindle devices for most of the books. Please check with one of the advisors to get yours.

Empower Club

A club for students of color to: find power within their own identity and develop strategies to navigate sticky situations, increase their knowledge about social justice and contribute positively to their school community, build friendships and laugh at Ms. Arevalo’s jokes.



Meets: Thursday at 3:55pm in Room 300 First meeting on Nov. 2nd
